Primary Job Duties:

Fargo Truss Systems is looking for an individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician.  This position will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. Previous maintenance and electrical background are preferred.

• Follow all required safety practices including lockout-tag out requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment breakdowns to minimize the time equipment is offline.
• Maintain inventory for machinery parts and supplies.
• Perform basic welding as required to repair equipment.
• Repair small tools and equipment.
• Keep maintenance area and tools clean and organized.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and pickups.

Job Requirements:

• Standing and or walking for 8-10 hours per day.
• Bending and reaching as required to maintain and repair equipment.
• Lifting up to 75lbs.

Education or Skills:

• Mechanical background with experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Basic electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and prints.
• Drivers license with a clean driving record
